Four members of the FILAMCLUB attended and watched the Warrior Challenge yearly event at Avon-by-the-Sea, NJ last July 16, 2011. John, Lete, Michelle and Julie enjoyed a great day watching the Warriors compete. Below are photos taken by Dave; click photo to enlarge.    . The last three years, over 200 participants and enthusiasts gather at the Avon beach for the physical competitions, which simulate the traditional trainings with military forces. Participants "share the motivation to take on a true physical challenge and the desire to support the men and women serving our country." Proceeds from the annual events support families of soldiers who have been wounded in the line of duty. To find out more, please Click here. |
